The Lady Pirates softball team won both games against Ottawa April 18 11-4 and 7-4.
In the first game, junior Makayla Stack was the starting pitcher who was later replaced by sophomore Kayla Vest, who helped lead the team to victory. The teams were tied 3-3 as they headed into the seventh inning, but then the Lady Pirates took off once more.
Junior Kamryn Sparks led the fifth inning along with junior Alexis Rymer, both hitting home runs.
In the second game, the Lady Pirates scored four runs in the first inning followed by two more in the second inning.
With a record of 6-0, the Lady Pirates will now move on to play Desoto April 20.
