Staff’s corner: favorite Halloween movie
Each month the staff will be answering fun tidbits about ourselves.
Halloweentown because it’s a Disney classic.
Ghostbusters because I like science fiction.
A Haunted Mansion because of the comedy.
Coraline because it’s spooky but not too spooky. It’s a movie that I’ve always watched since I was younger.
Corpse Bride, first of all because I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, second of all because It reminds me of spending time with my little sister. To this day, Jill and I will randomly start singing Corpse Bride songs because they are so catchy and full of good memories.
Halloweentown because I have a lot of childhood memories of watching the entire series on Disney Channel for years.
Hocus Pocus is an iconic tale of family, friendship and an incredibly fake cat, all of which are brought together in a cinematic masterpiece that has withstood the test of time for the past for the past 24 years and will continue to endure until the end of forever. As if you need another reason to watch it, young Max Dennison (Omri Katz) is kind of cute.
Halloweentown because it’s funny and takes me into another world that is fun, interesting and engaging.
