Bullying is the problem of every nation and comes in all forms. This week, the school is participating in No-Name-Calling Week, an effort put together annually by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN). At lunch Wednesday and Thursday, students will have the opportunity to stop by a table, pick up a sheet of paper and write down one of their positive attributes.

Senior Emma Bertrand said that the activity aims to promote a positive atmosphere and allow students to take pride in who they are.

“We’ve seen a lot of people display what our school is not like, and we’re trying to show people what our school is––the good parts of our student body, which is positive and accepting and diverse,” Bertrand said.
