The girls’ varsity swim traveled to Lansing High School April 2 and took second place as a team.

In the 200 medley relay, freshman Alex Saragusa, junior Taran Kerst and sophomore Courtney Johnson took fourth. Senior Mallory Courtney, freshman Lainey Sorenson and sophomore PaNia Penney placed eighth.

Sophomore Kaylin Miller placed fifth in the 200 free, Johnson third in the 100 fly, senior Sascha Dean fifth in the 500 fly and Saragusa fifth in the 100 back.

Johnson placed second in the 200 IM and senior Zoey Zager third. In the 500 free, Sorenson took ninth, Dean tenth and Penney fourteenth.

In the 100 free, Saragusa took seventh, Courtney twelfth and sophomore Amaya Daetwiler placed thirteenth.

For the 200 free relay, Kerst, Johnson and Saragusa took second and Zager, Dean and Sorenson fifth.

In the 100 breaststroke, Kerst took eighth, Sorenson ninth and Miller tenth.

Finally in the 400 free relay, Dean, Zager and Kerst took fourth and Penney, Daetwiler and Miller sixth.
