After leading the pack for the three game series, Abigayle Berner took second place at the 4A Bowling State competition with a 611 series today in Wichita.

For the girls team, Abigayle Berner and Brookelyn Lamberd qualified for State by placing in 10th and third respectively at Regionals in Shawnee last Thursday.

After the first and second games of the series, the Pirate boys bowling team sat second on the leaderboard, and ended the competition in fifth place overall total with a total of 2,899 pins.

The boys bowling team qualified for State as a whole with the placings as follows: Brendyn Bard in fourth with a 601 series; Kyron Fergus in seventh with a 571 series; Aaron Slaughter in eighth with a 566 series; Cody Davis in tenth with a 561 series.
