Many students’ worst fear is junior year with chemistry. Students drop sports and clubs and other outside school activities like jobs.

Incoming junior Vanilla Davis said, “I believe junior  year will be challenging, but I think I will make it.It may be challenging, but I’m still up for it. I think my biggest challenge would be my AP class and Chemistry.

Davis is also a Key Club representative, and she said that she will still be a part of Key Club because she still wants a have fun her junior year. To cope, Davis said she plans on making a schedule to be more organized with all the hard classes she will be taking next year and her extracurricular activities.

Sophomore Jacob Corral will still be doing sports, but he said he will be focusing more on school than doing outside school activities. Football and wrestling are the sports Corral will be doing unless chemistry starts to get in the way. Corral took easier classes next year knowing it’s the hardest year.

While students may be fearful of chemistry or junior year in general, they are going in knowing what’s ahead and what teachers are expecting.
