The boys' swim team took first at Washington High School Jan. 18. The performance included a school record in the 400 free relay by sophomore Jack Roland and juniors Drew Englis, Kyle Chambers and Jonny Moon. Moon also set a school record in the 100 free relay.

The girls' basketball team stayed undefeated in the Wellsville Top Gun Tournament and beat Baldwin in the championship, 57-47. Both teams were undefeated, with 12-0 records, heading into the game.

The Pirates had a tough game against Turner.  Down by 7 points at halftime, the boys came back ready to play. They took the lead going into fourth quarter with the score of 54-41. Pushing through the last quarter, the boys managed to keep their lead, winning the game, 72-54.

The varsity boys capped a night where all of the girls' and boys' basketball teams were victorious. The boys defeated Bishop Ward Jan. 9, 73-35.
