The Piper Pearls are performing for the students at Piper High School to showcase all the work they have done on May 4th in the auditorium.

“I’m so excited for this year’s spring show,” said senior captain Layla Blankenship. “Since this is my last one, I already know that it is going to be sad but special for me.”

Dancers have been preparing for the Spring Show for months and are going to have people from other dance studios come and perform as well.
“We have worked so hard this year on all these dances we were performing,” said sophomore captain Allison Buckner. “I’m so proud of how far this dance team has come.”

You have to pay for a ticket to get in the Spring show, but it is going towards next year’s costumes and stuff the team needs.“I was excited to choreograph one of the dances we are doing at the spring show this year,” said sophomore Callie Markham. “Picking out the costumes for the dance was my favorite part though.”

A lot of thought and practice goes into these shows. Dancers have spent countless afternoons working on the dances they have choreographed for this year’s show.

“I’m kinda scared to perform in front of people since it’s my first year doing this,” said freshman Bristol Smith. “But I’m ready to dance with the team and know we’ll do good.”

Before the Spring show the dancers are all getting together and having a little team bonding activity.

“I’m so sad to leave this team behind,” said Blankenship. “But I can’t wait to come back next year and see how much this team has grown.”
