Annalia Escalante is a junior at Piper High School, and this is her second year on staff. Escalante is involved in Key Club, FCCLA, Latinx Leadership Club, StuCo, Race Project KC, and Celebrating Diversity Club. Outside of school, Escalante runs her own treat-making business. Escalante loves any food that is sour. After high school, she would like to go into a career where she is able to serve her community. She is inspired by her mother, and her mission statement is to keep community members informed, and to make them feel like they have a trustworthy source of media.
