The PHS Theatre Department is raising money with a Little Caesar’s online campaign. Students are registering accounts on the Little Caesar’s Fundraising site, and then can share links for the community to purchase a variety of take-n-bake pizzas, sweet treats, and in-store pick up meals.

The goal is to raise money for the two 2024-2025 musicals, a winter improvisational performance, and cover a variety of expenses generated by an ambitious theatre program. Orders are due by May 17.

“We’re all working as a collective unit to raise money for the theatre department and support expenses for supplies such as costumes, props, set design and construction equipment, wigs and makeup, and other general production costs,” said theatre teacher Scott Ladish. “As the inaugural year in our new building and performance space, I wanted to plan a season that was exciting and do things that have never been done before, therefore, we’re doing a Fall and Spring musical! Throughout the decades of PHS Theatre, there has never been a season that has consisted of 2 musicals as mainstage productions.”

The winter play will be 100% improvisation, which in addition to doing two musicals in one school year, has never been produced by PHS. The improvisational will contain on-the-spot performances.

“The amount earned through this fundraiser will be put towards bringing larger-than-life productions to our NEW Piper High School stage and helping our incredibly talented artists shine through their work!” said Ladish. “Thank you for supporting our students through our 2023-2024 productions of Mamma Mia!, The Play That Goes Wrong, and Macbeth. We can’t wait to get back out on the stage and entertain our community. Here’s to another fantastic year of performances to come!”
